The picturesque intersection under the horizon on the East coast in what appears to be a cold winter day. The trees in the distance have no foliage. Look a little closer and you can see just to the left of the column there are blades of green grass. Could this be a sign that the East coast is finally done with what appears to have been one of the longest winters which I have lived through in a very long time.
Beautiful picture! I too and excited that winter is (hopefully) finally over! Did you use any of the photography tips we read about this week? I see elements of the Rule of Thirds from the positioning of the column in the right third of the image. You captured some great colors in the sky.
Yes, I was attempting to follow the thirds technique. It may sound strange but it took me forever to post it. I kept losing the text. For some strange reason the posted image stayed but not the text and it kept displaying as a Draft. After about 25 attempts I backed into getting it posted. Thanks for the complement on the picture.
I like this photo too. The column on ther ight gives as a sense we are looking out form a front porch. I find the patterns of the car arrangement interesting too- the ones oriented moving left and right versus the ones pointing up and down the hill on the left.
I am not exactly sure what was going on with your post. I might guess you were composing in the media upload tool and not the blog post?? You should be trying something 25 times without asking for help!
And now look at this blog post on its own. If someone sent me this link, do I know what this is about? I get a sense of you being relieve that it is Spring, but you need to give your assignment post context. I have no idea what assignment this is for, nor what you got out of doing it. Your post should be more explicit to what the assignment is– please review
